#101: Dress for the weather you want
It's supposed to be very warm in NYC next week and this is what you could wear.
If you live in the American Northeast, every March you’ll inevitably experience an unseasonably warm day that jolts you out of your winter slumber. It’s on one of these days that you must put on an outfit befitting the unusual warmth and start thinking ahead to all the possibilities of spring.
I’m in Seoul right now, about to leave for a ski trip to Niseko, Japan. I’m honestly gutted to be missing the impending freak summer weather arriving in New York next week. (For someone who has vowed never to experience a full winter again, I seem to be chasing it.) But if I were in New York, the formula would be quite simple. It would be something that doesn’t require much thought or effort, intuitive and easy but still looks good. Before I left New York, I dressed for the weather I want.
