#030: What I've been wearing and loving and going
This one reads like a blog post :')
It is March. Wild! I think it’s safe to say that we are well on our way to spring with this winter proving to be a mild and short one. This has something to do with a groundhog, I think but also, I can just feel it in the air. February and March are always two of my least favorite months of the year, months that are neither here nor there and still far too early on in the year to see warmer weather in sight. But over the past decade of living in New York, after trying almost every antidote in the book to combat winter blues—traveling somewhere warm, shopping for spring/summer, taking an absurd amount of pilates classes to force myself out of the apartment—this year, I’ve embraced the season and managed to carry on without an escape plan. It’s exhausting and boring to talk about how much I hate winter. Instead, I’m finding simple pleasures in dressing up, going to dinner and soaking in the energy of New York right now, which is a privilege. I’m actually enjoying this year’s milder temp…
